Teaching Statement
My teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that students bring as much knowledge and insight into the classroom as I do. I view teaching and learning as shared responsibilities, where both students and I hold the roles of teacher and learner at different times. While I encourage students to guide discussions and contribute their perspectives, I also recognize my responsibility to provide structure and direction. As an instructor, I ensure that class activities remain connected to the skills and knowledge students are required to gain in order to succeed. I see my role as a facilitator who creates an environment where all voices can be heard, where diverse perspectives enrich the material, and where learning is a collaborative and empowering process.
